What to Wear

When it comes to what to wear for your Senior portraits, sometimes it can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! This is such an incredible time in your life, and it only happens once, so take it in and enjoy the process.  Find a day to go shopping specifically for your senior photo shoot wardrobe.   Go prepared knowing what colors you look best in, what flatters your figure, and how many outfits you need.  Do your research before you go.  Check out Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration to see what styles and colors you are drawn to.  Do you love dresses or are you more of a jeans/boots girl?  Color or more neutral?  What are your favorite stores to shop at?  Before you go, check out their websites or catalogs to see how they style their outfits.  Having your Senior photos taken should be a fun experience from beginning to end and the more prepared you are, the more successful your photography experience will be.

Here are few key things to remember when putting together your outfits ~ think about color combination, textures, and layering.  Choose outfits that are fun, fashionable and true to your personality.

Change it up – if you wear a dress for your first outfit, wear some cute jean shorts and a floral top for your next one.  Don’t forget accessories – cute bangles, a long necklace and even a floppy hat is a wonderful add on – and can really add life to your photos!
