I know so many still might not know, but this past year we made the decision to move to Southern California!!  Encinitas area to be exact.  It truly has been such an incredible experience.  We love Texas, but we were ready for new adventures as a family!!  So we sold our home in Dallas, rented a huge truck and my husband drove our belongings out here.  The kids finished up their year of school and we all flew out here to start our new lives in California!

Honestly, one of the hardest parts was leaving behind my entire business I had built up over the past 8 years and so many of my clients had become friends.  But life is short, and we were ready for what was next.  As we settled in here in California, I decided to take a little break before I started my business back up.  I wanted to just be a Mom, be with my kids & my husband, enjoy our new little town, and really reflect on everything.  I LOVE photography, but it can definitely be exhausting and the last few years, I had been shooting a ton.

Lately though I had been feeling the urge to start back up again.  So here I am, starting completely over in a city I didn’t know anyone, trying to build another business from the ground up.

And good thing for you – I’m starting off with mini sessions!!  First date is December 8th, just in time to get photos in before the Holidays.
